We used Richard recently to fit a shower screen and replace a wash basin in a house we've recently bought. In short, Richard was superb. Everything from making the appointment to the work itself was done professionally and politely, and we're really pleased with the quality of Richard's work. We also felt that Richard charged us a very reasonable rate, and he stuck to his original quote. Thoroughly recommended.

Richard had done some good work fixing a leak and re-tiling my parents downstairs toilet so we gave him a call when we moved into our new house to do various bits of work, including fitting Asian style 'shower bidets'. The day before he was due to come, the shower pump failed and he managed to fix that too. He is very conscientious about his work - a bit of a perfectionist when it comes to finishing, even taking the trouble to get the previous grout shade to match exactly so the finished result looks good.

I had emailed Richard for a quote to fix a leaking hot water tank stop cock. He telephoned me just as I was at my wits end (as another plumber had made the problem worse) asking me if I still needed the work done as he had just finished another job early. He came to the house, gave me a verbal quote for the job and fixed it! I was so pleased, and although it seemed to take longer than expected he did not charge any more for the work. I can thoroughly recommend Richard, he arrived promptly and left the house clean and tidy.
